Performance “Mi” by Yuchen Li

At the book launch of "Bodies in Resistance and Rebellion
in times of War and Death"
(En Tiempos de Muerte: Cuerpos, Rebeldías, Resistencias).
“Mi” is an embodied performance, where the artist tells her personal stories with this important crop from her culture. The personal characteristics of the performance does not stop the messages being conveyed in a universally relatable way, with various political interpretations, such as migration, food security and global consumerism.
